Alanna, I wrote to you via email but I’m not exactly sure if you’d receive it so I am writing here as well: Thank you so much for this newsletter and your efforts - your writing meant so much to me when everyone around me had stopped caring about COVID and I was literally the last mask standing among my friends and the Swedish public (who, along with the government, never cared much in the first place). You were a validating voice of reason and data in the dumpster fire of the COVID information landscape and I truly appreciated all of your emails.

I’d love to follow along for what you write next and thank you.

Be of good heart. Pause, breath, regroup. The problems and risks are huge and hugely destructive. Your energy, concern and input are still needed. When it is possible join an advocacy group to get support and contribute to the honest advocacy for public health and the common welfare. There is strength in numbers. In the end the truth and reality always win. A million died in the USA, many from distortion of policy and truth. We will not join them.

It’s so discouraging but some validation and community are invaluable. This is a loss-- I hope you return in another way if it suits your needs. Thank you. The discouragement is to care and feel invalidated, and restricted.

I will miss the window into your thinking, even as it bleakened.

Maybe write about what people are doing.. show homes and offices. Show how davos runs a covid safe conference? I am installing air exchangers in my home office and run a hepa filter to keep the air clean when I have a worker in

Thank you for your work so far and if you ever do decide to move to another platform, I would love to follow you there as well. I completely understand - things feel a bit bleak right now; I'm over three years into my long covid journey all due to one infection and it feels like I am screaming into the void a lot of the time when my own doctors, family, friends etc refuse to mask even though they know exactly what this virus is capable of. Like the other commenters said, take the time that you need, and if you ever are up for more advocacy, there are groups of people like us out there ready to welcome you back. In the meantime, stay as safe as you can and hang in there.
