Looked at from a public health standpoint, the CDC’s new screw-it-just-spread-COVID guidance doesn’t actually make health or science sense. They are simply not the guidelines that will protect the greatest number of people from getting COVID. But was it reasonable to expect that from CDC?
I was researching travel to Japan. We have always wanted to visit Japan, and not with a tour group. We want to visit our way. DIY, walk around and get (a little) lost. Dive in. (From what I see, today, we can't go. Not on our own. Not without being part of a group. Japan's current COVID restrictions will not allow us to visit, our way, on our own. Of course, Japan, their society, it's very different from USA. Each country, it's society, social contract, if one exists at all, that plays into your piece today. Who is doing it, who's doing COVID right? Who's doing it wrong. And then, overlap that, Venn diagram it with various Societal traits??? That might be interesting...
